Webinar Overview:

There are four hot standards (verbal orders, history and physicals, security of medications, and post-anesthesia orders) in the hospital Conditions of Participation (CoPs). Hospitals continue to strive to meet compliance with these challenging standards. The relationship to the Joint Commission standards will also be discussed. New changes in the last year to the CMS CoP manual include visitation, respiratory and rehab orders, blood transfusion, telemedicine, IV medication, 30 minute medication rule, telemedicine, and anesthesia.
